How tuition works

Tuition

Tuition depends on your child's room and the schedule you choose. We go through the figures with you at the tour and give them to you in writing.

Registration

A registration fee opens your child's file. It goes with the application, and we tell you the amount at the tour.

Holding a place

Once you're offered a place, a deposit holds it until the first day and goes toward the first month's tuition.

Billing

Tuition is billed monthly. We can give you the bill on paper or by text, and we're glad to read it with you.

Help with tuition

Many of our families get help from New York's child care assistance program. Because Rattle is a nonprofit, ask us about other help too. Bring your letter or your questions to the tour, and we'll go through it together, in your language.

Leaving

We ask for two weeks' notice, in writing, so we can offer your child's place to the next family on the waitlist.
