A day here

A day at Rattle

Each room keeps this rhythm at its own pace.

  1. A small boy in a denim jacket holds a grown-up's hand, seen from behind
    6:00 am01

    Arrival

A teacher meets each child at the door and says good morning in the language your family speaks. You sign in, and the day begins.

  2. Children play with a rainbow wooden abacus in a classroom
    Morning02

    Learning

Counting on the abacus, matching shapes and singing the days of the week, in groups, each child at their own pace.

  3. Children paint inside large outlined drawings on paper on the floor
    Mid-morning03

    Art

Paint, crayons and big sheets of paper on the floor, with room to make a mess.

  4. Three children run across a sunny playground
    Late morning04

    Outside

Every group goes out every day the weather allows. Babies get fresh air in the stroller or on a blanket.

  5. Two children read illustrated books on a blanket
    Afternoon05

    Stories and rest

Picture books on the rug, then a rest. Babies sleep in their cribs when they need to, and older children rest on cots.

  6. Two adults swing a child between them on a leaf-covered forest path
    Evening06

    Pickup

A teacher tells you how the day went and hands over your child's things. Then it's home together.
